Dionex to launch UHPLC across HPLC range

Dionex has announced that it will be offering ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) compatibility for all of its HPLC products.

The upgrade will apply to the science company’s complete range of basic automated and standard HPLC modules, while its UltiMate 3000 rapid separation liquid chromatography product has also been upgraded with a large operational range.

According to the firm, the move means that life science researchers will be able to perform faster analysis, thereby saving money and improving sustainability.

Frank Witney, chief executive officer of Dionex Corporation, said: “These changes demonstrate our focus on bringing the benefits of UHPLC to everyone and open up exciting new opportunities for thousands of chromatographers worldwide.”

Earlier this month, the company won the Frost and Sullivan 2010 Best Practices Award for Global Process Chromatograph New Product Innovation, which was presented in recognition of its Integral Process Analytical (PA) platform for ion chromatography and high-performance liquid chromatography applications.
