DJO Global launches new OA Reaction TriFit knee brace
DJO Global has announced the launch of the DonJoy OA Reaction TriFit, a new knee brace for people with osteoarthritis.
It is designed to provide pain relief to those with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis caused by an active lifestyle, excess body weight or the effects of ageing, allowing them to remain active in spite of the condition.
The knee brace incorporates three unique technologies: the Web Tech shock absorber system, the Exos Tech system that offers heat-thermoformable custom fitting, and the Boa Tech micro-tension adjustment capability.
When compared to non-treatment, active use of bracing systems such as TriFit have been shown to help slow the progression of knee osteoarthritis or other serious knee injuries by enabling ongoing activity.
As a noninvasive approach to pain management, it is also preferable to surgical knee replacement, which can have a number of debilitating downsides.
Steve Ingel, president of bracing and supports at DJO Global, said: "The advanced low-profile comfort of TriFit provides a solution that aids in pain relief and helps keep patients moving."
