DJO Global names new head of DJO Surgical business
DJO Global has announced the appointment of the experienced executive Jeffery McCaulley as global president of the DJO Surgical business.
He brings more than 25 years of healthcare industry experience to the role, having most recently served as president and chief executive officer of Smiths Medical. Prior to this, he held key leadership roles at Zimmer, Wolters Kluwer, Medtronic and GE Healthcare.
Mr McCaulley has been appointed as the successor to Brady Shirley, who was appointed as DJO Global's president and chief executive in November 2016 after successfully doubling the revenue and profitability of the DJO Surgical unit since joining DJO in 2014.
Mr Shirley said: "Throughout his career, Jeff has a proven track record of accelerating innovation, improving employee and customer engagement, and delivering results. I look forward to this great next chapter for DJO Surgical."
Earlier this month, the company announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2017, during which net sales grew by 3.4 percent year over year, or 4.7 percent on a sales per day constant currency basis.
