DJO names global recovery sciences president

DJO Global has announced the recruitment of Sharon Wolfington from Stryker as the new president of its global recovery sciences division.

Ms Wolfington has more than 20 years of experience in the medical devices business and has been with Stryker since 2001, most recently serving as the president of its performance solutions business.

During her time with the company, she was able to build and lead a startup business within the organisation, allowing it to deliver systems and services to assist healthcare professionals in meeting their clinical, financial and operational performance goals.

She has also held several roles at Biomet/EBI Medical Systems and successfully completed the Harvard Business School advanced management programme.

Mike Mogul, DJO's global president and chief executive officer, said: "We look forward to her contribution to the executive management team and expect her broad experiences to make a terrific impact at DJO Global."
