Edelman appoints new EMEA leaders

Edelman has appointed Susan Eastoe and Iain Twine to new leadership roles in its European, Middle East and African (EMEA) divisions.

Ms Eastoe, the current chief operating officer (COO) and deputy chief executive officer (CEO) of Edelman UK, has been named COO of the EMEA region, giving her greater responsibility for fostering emerging market growth.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi and Dubai general manager Mr Twine will see his remit expanded to encompass all of the Middle East and Africa, areas in which the agency is pursuing ambitious expansion plans.

Both newly appointed staff members have been responsible for significant success in their previous roles, according to Robert Phillips, EMEA president and CEO for Edelman.

He added: "Their expanded roles will be critical to our ongoing success as we continue our strategic expansion and growth in the region."

This comes after the company announced the appointment of Matthew Harrington as its new global COO last month, a role he will take up this summer.
