EKF Diagnostics launches new Lactate Scout Plus analyser

EKF Diagnostics has announced the launch of a new version of its Lactate Scout Plus analyser, which has been optimised for medical applications.

Initially developed to provide coaches and athletes with a precise and easy-to-use mobile lactate test, the revised device now features capabilities such as haematocrit compensation to ensure accurate measurements even at high or low levels.

This makes it ideal for a range of established medical applications, including cardio training, weight reduction and fitness applications, as well as providing new potential usages in the field of obstetrics.

According to the manufacturer, customers can also expect dependable pre and post-sale support, as well as ease of use benefits from the device itself.

This comes after the firm recently announced that its Quo-Test and Quo-Lab point-of-care HbA1c analysers have been positively assessed in a scientific poster presented at the World Diabetes Congress.
