Elanco launches dedicated equine business

15th April 2014

Elanco has announced the launch of a dedicated equine business unit, reflecting its growing portfolio of offerings in this field.

The new division will be headed by Nick Burford, who joined Elanco following its Janssen takeover in 2011. The experienced team consists of three key account managers – Jonathan Moore, Nicola Caldwell and Debbie Goodwin.

Each of the team members has extensive knowledge of the equestrian industry and will be solely dedicated to equine practices. The launch of the business aims to strengthen the company's presence in the equestrian sector and provide more targeted support for equine vets.

The unit will be supported at head office level by technical consultant Ed Whittle and marketing and product manager Kirsty Prudon.

Mr Burford said: "Our experienced new team will offer excellent first-line product support, which will be backed up by a technical helpline to enable vets to discuss difficult cases."

Elanco employs more than 2,500 people worldwide and has more than 35 agricultural and animal health products approved in over 80 countries worldwide.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801712830-ADNFCR
