Elanco launches social media campaign to help vets engage with pet owners

Elanco has announced the launch of a new social media campaign, #PetMagicMoments, backed by its Milbemax brand.

The aim of the campaign is to create greater engagement between veterinary practices and their clients on social media, which will ultimately help to encourage customer footfall for veterinary practices.

To build the community, pet owners and animal health professionals are being asked to share their favourite moments with their pets via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with prizes given out for the most popular posts.

A companion campaign, #VetMagicMoments, will enable veterinary practice staff to share heartwarming stories that occur in their practices. Meanwhile, Elanco will use its own social media channels to provide informative content such as worming advice, pet-related information, news, statistics, competitions and quizzes.

Matthew Rowe, Milbemax marketing manager at Elanco Animal Health, said: "Our #PetMagicMoments campaign will build a community of pet owners, vets and vet nurses who share the love they have for their pets, while driving engagement between veterinary practices and their clients on social media."
