Elsevier offers solution for grant applications

Elsevier has announced the availability of a new platform which allows researchers to better locate potential grants and increase the likelihood of them being awarded the funds.

SciVal Funding is a comprehensive intelligence solution designed to maximise researchers’ chances of locating and accessing national, international, multidisciplinary and collaborative funding and routinely covers over 5,000 sources.

It is updated on a daily basis and users can explore opportunities by subject area, amount, award type or deadline.

Josine Stallinga, from Elsevier’s academic and government group, stated: "SciVal Funding helps users make smarter decisions when it comes to determining which research grants to pursue as well as the most appropriate way to pursue them."

This news comes after Elsevier’s online course entitled Severe sepsis and septic shock, from the clinical learning course Mosby’s Essential Nursing CE, was named winner in the Infectious Diseases category of the FREDDIE awards.
