EML Wildfire handed PR brief by BuddyBet
EML Wildfire has been appointed to drive awareness and attract partners and users for a new peer-to-peer betting platform developed by BuddyBet.
The social betting specialist has tasked EML Wildfire with promoting the benefits of its technology to other companies via gaming and digital media, while also raising the brand's profile among consumers.
Additionally, the brief will involve building the profile of BuddyBet's chief executive and founder Jarrod Epps, who recently received $3 million (1.97 million pounds) in private funding for the company's next phase of development.
BuddyBet believes it can offer a way of monetising online and mobile games that will help to engage users, rather than alienating them.
Debby Penton, director at EML Wildfire, said: "By showing that there are innate betting tendencies in most of us, we plan to demonstrate the size of the opportunity that BuddyBet is offering games developers and online publishers in general."
Last month, the technology PR firm was hired to help launch Unii.com, a new social network aimed specifically at the student community.
