Emotive appoints new medical director

Emotive has announced the appointment of Dr Gill Boucher as a new medical director following a number of international client wins.

Dr Boucher will join the agency's senior leadership team and will be tasked with overseeing its in-house team of medical writers, delivering scientific excellence and senior strategic direction across all disciplines of medical communications.

She is a qualified physician who worked within the NHS before taking up a position with Martindale Pharma, where she worked in medical affairs, then moving on to spend seven years at QuintilesIMS, most recently serving as a product and strategy director.

Dr Boucher has experience of developing medical communications across a wide range of therapeutic areas and of leading a medical writing team.
