Emotive earns ISO 9001 accreditation for quality assurance
Emotive has announced that it has earned ISO 9001 accreditation, an internationally recognised standard held by just over one million companies worldwide.
The healthcare comms agency received the accreditation after an extensive external audit, designed to assess whether the company's products or services have been developed with the highest focus on quality assurance.
In order to meet this standard companies are required to demonstrate that its processes are documented and continually reviewed and improved, while team members must have the right skills for their roles and receive regular training.
Additionally, management teams need to show a sustained focus on quality and customer service, with the company demonstrating compliance with all the relevant regulatory and legal requirements governing their industry.
Emotive was able to meet all of these criteria comfortably, with the audit report showing "no non-conformances found".
The agency said the receipt of the ISO 9001 standard represents "verification that they have everything in place to deliver the highest quality services for their international clients in life sciences".
