Envision Pharma announces ProScribe buyout

25th February 2014

Envision Pharma has acquired ProScribe, a move it hopes will help it expand into the Asia-Pacific region.

The buyout, announced this month, was completed on January 17th. As a result, the group now comprises five scientific solutions divisions – Envision, Evidence, Excel and Engage, as well as the new acquisition.

ProScribe offers medical writing services to companies responsible for medical devices and biopharmaceuticals. It also serves academia, with the Asia-Pacific region being the firm's most established market.

Under the terms of the sale, ProScribe's clients will benefit from full access to Envision Pharma's range of services. Karen Woolley and Mark Woolley will continue to lead the firm's dedicated team of medical writers.

"We fully appreciate the global nature of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and the strategic importance of the Asia-Pacific region," Envision Pharma commented.

It said the acquisition would allow it to provide "a truly global service that mirrors our clients' needs".ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801697493-ADNFCR
