Eppendorf launches Microplates

23rd February 2009

Eppendorf has announced the launch of a new series of Microplates, which it says benefit from an OptiTrack alphanumeric matrix and unique transparency.

The organisation explains these features will make it easy to identify the correct plate and individual samples.

Additionally, the new RecoverMax well design provides the hardware with the capacity to provide maximum sample recovery, as well as minimising potential cross contamination between wells and wicking.

Other features of the Microplates include the OptiTracks matrix to increase well identification by 30 per cent, high chemical resistance and a flat, planar surface with raised well rims in order to allow for effective sealing.

Additionally, the equipment is batch tested and certified PCR clean or sterile quality, the company explains.

Those with science sales jobs eager to take a closer look at the Microplates can order a free sample from Eppendorf’s website.

In recent weeks, the company announced the launch of a number of other polypropylene plates, named 96 and 384.ADNFCR-1050-ID-19040647-ADNFCR
