Eppendorf launches new Tube 5.0 mL sample handling system

Eppendorf has announced the launch of its new Eppendorf Tube 5.0 mL system, a high-quality sample handling solution for volumes up to five mL.

Featuring a comprehensive line of accessories for centrifugation, heating, mixing, liquid handling and storage, the new products have already earned a prestigious red dot design award, recognising the high standards involved in their creation.

Typically, scientists working with samples between two and five mL, researchers have no choice but to use tubes that are designed for larger volumes, such as 15 mL conical screw cap tubes – a problem solved by Eppendorf's new product.

They allow for easy and quick integration into existing workflows across a variety of applications, including cell culture work, DNA purification and sample storage.

Eppendorf has introduced this latest addition to its portfolio after it launched the latest version of its ThermoMixer sample preparation device last month, thus delivering a host of performance and ergonomic benefits for users.
