FCB and Beiersdorf to revamp collaboration in Nivea brand comms

21st February 2017

FCB and Beiersdorf are moving to form a closer working relationship to promote the Nivea personal care brand worldwide.

The agency has appointed Stuart Stobbs as chief inspiration officer for Nivea, while Mikki Brunner takes on the role of global executive creative director, heading a new creative leadership team for the brand.

It will also be moving away from large centralised teams towards a “creative rumble” model, bringing together talent from its global divisions and representatives from Beiersdorf’s marketing division for worldwide campaign development sessions lasting one or two weeks.

Ralph Gusko, board member for brands at Beiersdorf, said: “We want to open Nivea to additional target groups with innovative and efficient impulses worldwide, with FCB at our side.”

FCB and its predecessor companies have been working to promote the Nivea brand since its introduction back in 1911, with FCB member companies now working across 66 countries to connect local consumers with Nivea products.

The agency also leads communications for Beiersdorf’s Labello, Eucerin, Hansaplast, Florena and Aquaphor brands.
