Ferring asserts new board of directors is significant step
Ferring has created a new executive board of directors, which will be an important step in the development of the firm, it has been claimed.
The move reflects the need to alter the management structure, due to the growth of the company over recent years, said chairman Frederik Paulsen.
He commented on the restructure: “This will help us consolidate our position and push on to the next phase of our growth.”
The board will work collectively to manage the company’s values that underpin its activities, as well as being responsible for the legal and ethical compliances of all its operating procedures.
It will be led by Michel Pettigrew, president of the executive board and chief operating officer, who stated he was “delighted” with the appointment.
He further explained the new team would help position Ferring for global success in the future by strengthening its professionalism and efficiency.
Also on the board will be Peter Wilden, chief financial officer, Pascal Danglas, executive vice-president clinical & product development, and group general counsel Jean Duvall.
Ferring is a Swiss-based based company that develops products in the areas of endocrinology, gastroenterology, gynaecology, fertility and urology.
