Firefly hired by software developer COINS to support sustainability challenge

Firefly won a new contract with software developer Construction Industry Solutions (COINS) to support a new sustainability challenge the client will be launching soon.

The agency has been tasked with handling international PR surrounding the inaugural COINS Construction Industry Grand Challenge (CCIGC), with aim of delivering entries from the UK, US and Australia.

Firefly's team will be led by Tom Reynolds, who will report directly to Robert Brown, chairman of the CCIGC project, and global marketing communications executive Kimber England.

Mr Brown said: "The Firefly team has a wealth of technology PR experience, particularly in the enterprise space, so we're looking forward to working with Tom and the team."

The purpose of CCIGC will be to uncover a niche but viable technology idea that has the potential to reduce energy consumption at all stages in the lifecycle of built assets.

In addition, the awards will reward leaders under the age of 35 who demonstrate the ability to bring a fresh approach to sustainability leadership in the construction sector.
