Firefly to help promote Talent Unleashed Awards

Firefly Communications has been appointed to help promote the Talent Unleashed Awards, an event celebrating technology development and entrepreneurial skills in the UK.

The agency will work with the event's organiser, recruitment firm Talent International, to coordinate the awards entry process, media relations and social media activities, which will culminate in a gala dinner to announce the overall winner.

Among the judges for the awards will be entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson and the technology publication Wired. The winner will be taken to visit Sir Richard's Entrepreneurial Centre in South Africa this November.

In addition to this work, Firefly has been tasked with assisting Talent on the implementation of a global rebrand and PR plan for 2015 following the awards.

Talent International chief executive officer Jon Butterfield said: "We selected Firefly because the team share our own enthusiasm for celebrating UK IT talent and they have the necessary domain expertise to make this event a success."
