Firstlight appoints two new healthcare team members

Firstlight has announced the appointment of two new members of its growing healthcare team as it seeks to further enhance its service offering.

Grant Fisher has been appointed as the team's new associate director, joining the agency from Ruder Finn, where he served in the same position. During his time at Ruder Finn, he worked to develop and deliver global communications programmes, reports Gorkana.

Meanwhile, Kristen Barrett has joined Firstlight as an account director. She previously worked at Aurora Healthcare Communications and at Atlantis Healthcare prior to that, focusing on patient advocacy and media relations.

These two appointments will aid the agency's efforts to cultivate a medium-sized healthcare practice and venture into new areas of work, with the healthcare team having experienced considerable growth since being established in 2011.
