Fishawack highlights success of scientific communications offering

Fishawack has welcomed the positive response received for its Fishawack Scientific Communications division since its recent launch.

Established in response to industry demand to firewall publication and scientific projects from promotional activities, the business secured five new clients in the first half of 2012 and now delivers scientific publications for more than 12 products.

Comprised of an independent team of publication experts and writers from across the company's UK and US operations, Fishawack Scientific Communications is able to assist firms in separating activities and publishing clinical trial data in a timely manner.

Dr Rachel Sherman, head of Fishawack Scientific Communications, credited the firm's success to its depth of publications expertise, understanding of compliance issues and broad range of therapy area experience.

Oliver Dennis, chief executive officer of the Fishawack group, added: "This latest initiative represents one of a number of developments we have implemented across the Fishawack group to reinforce our positioning as a communications specialist for the pharmaceutical industry."

Earlier this year, the company expanded its operations further with the appointment of industry experts Glenn Wilson, Sissy Easo-Joseph and Anna Timbrell to client service positions.
