Fleishman-Hillard appoints senior policy adviser

20th September 2010

Fleishman-Hillard has recruited Henry Featherstone as a new senior policy adviser for its healthcare public affairs and corporate communications team.

Mr Featherstone joins the agency from his previous role as head of health at the influential think tank Policy Exchange, where he has served since November 2008, reports PRWeek.

The company has appointed the adviser following the election of former senior consultant Chris Heaton-Harris as Conservative MP for Daventry, as well as the departure of Andrew Cumpsty to a new role as head of public affairs at Penna.

Mr Featherstone brings extensive political experience to the media agency, having previously worked for a number of Conservative Party politicians.

Most prominently, prior to joining Policy Exchange, he served as chief of staff for chairman of the defence select committee James Arbuthnot MP.

Last month, Fleishman-Hillard was nominated for Public Affairs Campaign of the Year at the 2010 UK PRWeek Awards, honouring promotional work conducted on behalf of the World Hepatitis Alliance.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-800072380-ADNFCR
