Foco appoints new partner to oversee fintech business

Foco has announced the appointment of Amy Rowe as its third partner, a role that will see her play a key role in leading the agency's fintech business.

In her new role, Ms Rowe will oversee the agency's content proposition and nurture internal talent, in addition to helping to develop the fintech unit. This will leverage her extensive experience of financial sector comms, reports Gorkana.

Prior to this, Ms Rowe was employed by the financial PR firm MRM, where she worked alongside Foco's current commercial partner Michael Taggart, who left MRM in June 2017 to help establish Foco.

She also co-founded finance blog Mouthy Money with Taggart in 2016, having previously managed Citywire's social media accounts and website.

Mr Taggart said of Ms Rowe: "Knowing as I do her tremendous energy, her instinct for leadership and the joy she takes in seeing great people do great work, I feel good about Foco's future."
