Foco hired to promote fintech startup Bean
Foco has been handed a new contract by the fintech startup Bean, with the aim of raising awareness of the brand across traditional and new media.
Bean is the creator of an online personal finance assistant that helps users to reduce their recurring costs by finding, tracking and managing regular bills and subscriptions in people's bank accounts.
The company has tasked Foco with handling PR and digital comms activities with the goal of turning the brand into a household name.
Michael Taggart, co-founder of Foco, said: "The simple fact is Bean's platform could help thousands – maybe millions – of people save significant sums by managing their payments better."
Foco is a newly-established comms agency formed in August by Mr Taggart alongside John Shewell and Nick Sturman, and has committed to working exclusively with organisations on projects that create social good.
Peter Myatt, co-founder of Bean, said the company chose to work with Foco based on the years of experience in consumer-facing fintech services that the agency's founders can boast.
