Forster Communications wins new brief with Infection Prevention Society
Forster Communications has been handed a brief by the Infection Prevention Society, an organisation representing around 2,000 healthcare professionals.
The agency will provide media engagement services to highlight the society's value to patients and healthcare providers, with the aim of positioning the client as the UK's leading authority on infection prevention and control.
Following a recent campaign to inform and educate patients about seasonal infections, the Infection Prevention Society is looking to amplify its voice on a range of key healthcare issues, including healthcare-associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.
Amanda Powell-Smith, chief executive of Forster Communications, said: "The Infection Prevention Society has a crucial role and we are delighted to be working with them to help ensure patient safety, protect vital NHS resources and influence healthcare policy."
This project will build on Forster Communications' extensive healthcare experience, including its recent work creating a suicide prevention toolkit for Public Health England and Business in the Community, as well as its brand positioning work for Crohn's and Colitis UK.
