Freud Communications appoints new creative director for digital and innovation

Freud Communications has announced the appointment of Haran Ramachandran as its new creative director of digital and innovation.

Mr Ramachandran joins the agency from M&C Saatchi, where he served as head of digital within its sport and entertainment business. In his new role at Freuds, he has been tasked with identifying opportunities to use technology and innovation to develop new ideas for clients.

This will see him working on campaigns for clients spanning the agency's entire portfolio. During his career, he has done work on behalf of well-known brands such as Marmite and Guinness.

The new recruit said: "The agency has a number of hugely interesting and diverse clients in its portfolio, and now is a more exciting time than ever to be joining."

Freuds has also announced the hiring of Jay Williams, founder of 72 point, as its new head of news. He will oversee the development and delivery of news and content, leveraging his experience of creating bespoke news and content packages for a range of clients.
