FTI Consulting names new managing director

FTI Consulting has announced the appointment of the experienced journalist Andrew Ward as its new managing director.

Mr Ward joins the life science and healthcare communications practice from the Financial Times, where he has spent the last 18 years. He served as its pharmaceuticals correspondent for almost three years, covering the business, finance, science and regulation of the global pharmaceuticals and medical equipment industries, reports PMLiVE.

In his new role, he will be tasked with helping to broaden and deepen FTI Consulting's client base on a global basis, leveraging the experience accrued as one of the pharmaceutical sector's most respected reporters.
