Galliard to promote mental health book launch

1st April 2014

Galliard has been hired to publicise the forthcoming launch of a book that aims to tackle the social stigma attached to mental illness.

Entitled In My Room, the not-for-profit publication tells the stories of patients who are recovering from mental health problems and was penned by psychiatric professor Jim Lucey, reports Gorkana.

The agency has taken on a pro-bono brief that will see it offer up its time to promote the book launch through a range of media channels, which will include traditional and social media activity.

Earnings from the book will be contributed to Professor Lucey's local mental health services foundation at St Patrick's University Hospital in Dublin. It is hoped that it will shed light on the relationships that exist between psychiatrists and their patients, as well as the path that people affected by mental problems take to recovery.

Galliard's senior team is headed by managing partner Rosemary Hennings, alongside directors Dominic Elliston, Diane Lorton and Jon Harris.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801708796-ADNFCR
