GE Healthcare names chief executive of life sciences business
GE Healthcare has announced the appointment of Emmanuel Ligner as the new president and chief executive officer of GE Healthcare Life Sciences.

Mr Ligner started his career in Japan, where he worked in various commercial roles in the pharmaceutical industry, moving to the UK as vice-president for European sales and marketing at Whatman.
He has been appointed as the successor to Kieran Murphy, who was recently named as president and chief executive officer of GE Healthcare.
Mr Murphy said: "Emmanuel is a positive, inspiring leader and he is the perfect person to lead this fantastic business into its next chapter."
