GE Healthcare showcases new innovations at Anesthesiology 2013

14th October 2013

GE Healthcare is attending the Anesthesiology 2013 industry conference in San Francisco this week, where it is showcasing a number of its innovative medical devices.

The event, which runs from October 12th to 16th this year, provides the company with an opportunity to demonstrate its latest advances in life-supporting anaesthesia delivery systems, patient monitoring, parameters and accessories.

Among them are the Avance CS2 anaesthesia delivery unit, which offers ecoFLOW technology to provide visual guidance to help avoid unnecessarily high or low gas flow rates and help clinicians maintain their desired inspired oxygen concentration.

Also on display will be the GE Critikon RADIAL-CUF, the first clinically validated blood pressure cuff for the adult forearm, as well as the Carescape Respiratory Module and B850 and B650 Monitors.

Thierry Leclercq, president and chief executive officer at GE Healthcare Life Care Solutions, said: "We are proud to demonstrate several new technologies that can help guide more confident clinician decision-making, help reduce costs and provide more personalised patient care."

This comes after the firm attended the American Society for Radiation Oncology meeting in Atlanta last month.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801649281-ADNFCR
