Geistlich Pharma demonstrates new products at Europerio

Geistlich Pharma has hailed the success of its recent showing at the Europerio dental industry conference, where it exhibited a number of products.

During the event in Vienna earlier this month, the manufacturer took the opportunity to showcase its newest Geistlich Biomaterials product, the Bio-Oss Pen, which is being rolled out across Europe after receiving CE Mark approval in May 2012.

A device containing the bone replacement material Geistlich Bio-Oss, it provides a handy applicator for simple and direct application, with Europerio attendees proving keen to try out and view the product.

Also during the show, the company organised a series of lectures on issues affecting the sector, such as the different surgical and non-surgical treatment methods in the peri-implantitis field and therapies for receding gums.

The firm said in a statement: "This year's Europerio, the largest parodontology conference in the world, was very successful with 7,800 visitors. The trip to Vienna was also worth it for Geistlich Biomaterials too."

This comes after the company celebrated its entry into the important Japanese market earlier this year.
