GlaxoSmithKline revamps Biotene product packaging
GlaxoSmithKline has relaunched a number of its Biotene oral care products with new packaging aesthetics and sizes.
The company’s Oralbalance saliva replacement gel, fluoride toothpaste and moisturising mouthwash have been repackaged to draw more attention to the health benefits each product can provide.
This range of products is specified for protection against dry mouth, an attribute emphasised on the new packaging of both the gel and mouthwash products.
GlaxoSmithKline has also highlighted the fact that its toothpaste product can help to “supplement saliva’s natural defences and strengthen teeth”.
All of the packaging now features a more prominent logo, while the mouthwash is also set to be sold in a larger 500 ml bottle replacing the previous 250 ml offering.
The company’s Biotene range also includes the Dry Mouth Moisturising Liquid, which is designed to inhibit odour-causing bacteria through the use of bio-active enzymes of the same type featured naturally in saliva.
