GLOBALHealthPR healthcare comms network expands into Asia

19th January 2017

GLOBALHealthPR has announced the launch of a new head office for Asia-Pacific, as it seeks to expand its presence in the Asian region.

The new office will be based in Singapore and will be led by executive director James Yi, who was previously employed as managing director of Ogilvy Public Relations in Vietnam and as chief executive officer of Burson-Marsteller Korea, reports PMLiVE.

GLOBALHealthPR's healthcare communications network is now comprised of 19 partner agencies operating across more than 40 markets worldwide, with its headquarters in New York and its European branch led by Aurora Communications' London office.

It was also recently announced that Hong Kong-based Madison Communications is joining the network, a move that will further bolster its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

Jonathan Wilson, president of GLOBALHealthPR, said: "The Asia Pacific region is the source of considerable growth and innovation in the healthcare industry, creating an increased need for best-in-class, health-focused strategic communications solutions for clients in the region."
