GlucoTrack’s Revolutionary Blood Glucose Device Prepares for First Human Trials
GlucoTrack has concluded their preclinical investigation involving their implantable continuous glucose monitor and is now preparing for their initial human trials that are anticipated to take place in the near future.
The glucose monitor is positioned beneath the skin and linked to a lead inserted into a blood vessel. This setup enables instantaneous blood glucose measurements with no delay.
The corporation strives to advance the monitoring device to have an extended sensor lifespan, eliminating the need for supplementary wearable elements and incorporating a singular calibration occurrence.
The corporation has commenced ongoing preclinical analysis of the implantable device. The research is set to evaluate the precision and durability of the sensor using an enhanced prototype and a more extensive sample pool.
Paul Goode, the chief officer at GlucoTrack, commented, “The intravascular approach creates a system that is truly differentiated in the diabetes market. By measuring glucose in the blood, our system operates in a way that is comparable to what people expect with conventional fingerstick blood glucose monitoring. And we accomplish this on a continuous basis with long-term use, improved simplicity, and increased discretion.”
