Golin appointed by Simple for skincare brief

21st March 2017

Golin has been handed a new brief by Simple, the Unilever-owned skincare brand, to handle digital marketing activities.

The agency has been tasked with leading a digital experience project in the field of skincare, with the client picking Golin for the contract based on its strong audience understanding and expertise in the digital field, reports Gorkana.

Coinciding with this announcement, the agency has appointed Will Balme, formerly of R/GA, as its new digital client services director, a role that will see him help lead and grow the agency's growing digital portfolio.

His former employers include digital and brand agencies such as Rufus Leonard and Radley Yeldar, with his work at R/GA including work with global brands such as Barclays, Guinness and Adidas.

Golin's head of digital Alex Brittain said: "This new win and latest hire highlights our increasingly mature digital offering at Golin. Nearly half of the agency is now a digital or social creative content expert."
