Golin London introduces new flexible working and leave package for staff
Golin London is seeking to improve diversity and gender parity in the workplace with a new package of flexible working measures and parental leave allowance.
The Life Time scheme will be introduced on April 4th and will provide staff with unlimited home or remote working, as well as a wellbeing allowance of 50 pounds per month, reports PRWeek.
Meanwhile, an 'ease in and out' scheme for people taking maternity leave will introduce reduced hours and office time around periods of official leave, while paid paternity leave of six weeks will be available to all new fathers.
The agency is implementing the Life Time programme to account for the changing habits and expectations of modern employees, as well as to make the workplace a fairer and more equitable place.
Bibi Hilton, managing director at Golin London, said: "People want more flexibility and personalisation in the way they work and we are responding to these cultural changes in the workplace."
Currently, the gender pay gap in the UK PR sector is estimated at 22,000 pounds for the most senior roles, of which half are occupied by women.
