Golin names new global head of healthcare

Golin has announced the appointment of Neera Chaudhary as its new global president of healthcare.

Ms Chaudhary will lead the Golin Health and Virgo Health brands, working alongside Sarah Matthew, who is vacating the global president role to take up the position of chair. Additionally, Ms Chaudhary will serve on the agency's executive board.

The new president previously worked as executive creative strategist of the healthcare practice at Cohn and Wolfe, leading strategy and creative work for healthcare clients from the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharma, medical device, health technology and consumer health sectors.

She has experience of working on award-winning healthcare campaigns for blockbuster drugs and disease awareness, and is a qualified medical professional with advanced degrees in healthcare.

Ms Chaudhary said: "I wanted to be a part of an industry leader known for its bold and unconventional creative consumer marketing work and build on that equity to help healthcare clients win in the battle for brand relevance and grow the practice globally."
