Golin wins brief to develop global corporate narrative for Merck

29th January 2018

Golin has won a new brief with Merck that will see the agency working with the German company to develop its global corporate narrative.

The science, healthcare and technology firm has appointed Golin London after a competitive pitch, with the purpose of the work being to define a narrative that explains Merck's identity, purpose and direction. This will help the client to focus its corporate storytelling.

Merck is looking to identify new ways to further differentiate itself from the US-based drugs giant of the same name, which operates as Merck Sharp and Dohme or MSD in territories outside the US and Canada.

This latest effort follows the introduction of a new visual identity for Merck over the last few years, which was intended to give the company a more defined sense of personality than its competitors.

Nick Bishop, Golin's head of corporate, said: "Merck is bold, brave and totally committed to doing things differently, and all of us at Golin feel very privileged to be working with it on this project."
