Grayling appoints new tech practice leader

Grayling has announced the appointment of three new members of its senior team, including a new leader for its technology practice.

Chris Owen has been named as the agency's new tech head, joining Grayling from Octopus Communications, where he served for two years, most recently in the role of senior account director.

He also has experience of working with Bite and Edelman. In his new role he will be tasked with building a fully-integrated tech offer, with a focus on mobile, advertising, broadcast, start-ups and consumer technology.

Additionally, the company announced the appointment of Alan Boyd-Hall as a director of planning and infrastructure within its public affairs team, while Louise Bucknall has been appointed to lead the Grayling Midlands office.

Alison Clarke, Grayling's chief executive officer in the UK and Ireland, told PRWeek: "These important new investment hires signal our ongoing commitment to those areas of our business that have been experiencing the most growth."
