Hanover announces management appointments for healthcare practice
Hanover has reorganised the senior management structure of its healthcare practice as it seeks to broaden its global focus.
Andrew Harrison, the comms and PR consulting firm's UK healthcare director, has been given a new role as director of global healthcare, taking responsibility for delivering international campaigns, reports Pharmafile.
Working closely with Hanover's London and Brussels offices and its wider global network, he will dedicate himself to meeting the needs of the agency's growing overseas client base, while continuing to work on a small number of key UK accounts.
Meanwhile, Dr Mark Saxon takes over as UK healthcare director, heading a team of 16 and continuing the firm's activities in the field of pharma brand communications and market access.
Mr Harrison said: "The new roles reflect this growth and build on a number of European programmes we are currently delivering for clients. They will enable us to better meet our clients' – and our own – ambitions for the future."
The company's client experience includes work with major pharmaceutical companies such as Lilly, Merck Sharp and Dohme, UCB and Amgen, as well as non-healthcare businesses like BlackBerry, Apple, Goldman Sachs and the British Film Institute.
