Havas Group acquires SO What Global
Havas Group has announced the acquisition of the SO What Global agency, a move intended to further enhance its global capabilities in healthcare and wellness.Â
SO What Global works with many of the top pharma, consumer lifestyle and wellness companies, as well as global associations.Â
Acquiring the agency brings not only its robust client roster but also the opportunity to further evolve its RelationSHIFT proprietary mapping and development framework, which helps accurately define a client’s reputation before creating a tailored pathway that moves them closer to valuable relationships with key stakeholders.
Yannick Bolloré, chief executive of Havas Group – the world’s fifth largest global communications company, believes that merging SO What Global into Havas Health & You is “a strong strategic move to expand the group’s healthcare and wellness capabilitiesâ€.Â
He added: “Their entrepreneurial mindset within the Havas Village will work to stimulate even more business growth and drive. I wish the teams a warm welcome to the Havas Family.”
Following the acquisition’s completion, SO’s co-founders and managing partners Scott A. Clark and Oliver Parsons will continue to head up the team of health, well-being and lifestyle comms professionals.Â
Both will report to Havas Health & You chief executive Donna Murphy and will work closely with European senior leaders for day-to-day operations.
