Headland wins brief with Oracle Cancer Trust

25th July 2013

Headland has been appointed to devise a digital media strategy for the Oracle Cancer Trust in order to support a new fundraising drive.

The initiative aims to raise ten million pounds for the charity group by 2018 to help it create a state-of-the-art treatment centre, thus making it necessary to raise awareness of Oracle's activities and reputation, reports Gorkana.

In addition to developing its strategy, Headland will be tasked with advising Oracle on its inaugural City donor programme, with associate director Fiona Davis-Coleman to lead the Headland team.

Oracle Cancer Trust's work focuses on raising the profile of head and neck cancers, an underfunded area of medical research.

Anthony Sykes, chief executive officer of Oracle, said: "We have been impressed with the Headland team's knowledge and experience of how to leverage exposure for our cause through the use of digital, alongside traditional, media and their creativity for developing our first City event."

Headland was founded in 2005 and works primarily with UK and European firms, while also serving clients in North America, the Middle East and Asia.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801616640-ADNFCR
