Henry Schein again receives ethical company accolade

Henry Schein has been announced as a 2014 World's Most Ethical Company by the Ethisphere Institute. 

This is the third successive time the company – which provides healthcare products to dental practitioners – has been recognised in this manner.

Stanley Bergman, chief executive and chairman of the board at Henry Schein, said: "A shared commitment to ethical behavior is a core value of Henry Schein and one of the reasons why our company has enjoyed more than eight decades of success and growth."

The firm is one of 144 organisations across 41 industries and 22 countries to receive this accolade, which is assessed using the Ethisphere Institute's Ethics Quotient framework.

Developed over several years, the process is designed to quantify a company's ethical performances in an objective and consistent manner and the organisations are judged on their ethics and compliance program, reputation for leadership and innovation, governance, corporate citizenship and responsibility.
