Henry Schein CEO receives honorary King’s College London fellowship
Henry Schein has announced that its chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) Stanley Bergman has been awarded an honorary fellowship by King's College London.
The award recognises Mr Bergman's exceptional distinction in his public and professional life, thanks to his good work in leading the company, as well as his dedication to various philanthropic projects.
He and his wife Marion have actively supported organisations fostering the arts, higher education, cultural diversity, grassroots healthcare and sustainable entrepreneurial economic development initiatives worldwide through the Henry Schein Cares programme, while also serving on the boards of various companies in related fields.
Professor Sir Rick Trainor, principal of King's College London, said: "As an individual who is an exemplar in his service to society in general and to dental public health in particular, Stanley Bergman is a most worthy candidate for the award."
This comes after Mr Bergman was honoured by the Hispanic Dental Association, National Dental Association and Society of American Indian Dentists at a Multi-Cultural Oral Health Summit in the US last year.
