Henry Schein launches Zirlux FC2 zirconium oxide system

21st May 2014

Henry Schein has announced the launch of its new Zirlux FC2 zirconium oxide system, a pre-shaded and highly translucent product for the efficient creation of aesthetic monolithic restorations.

The new system can be reliably used in a wide range of indications, up to a 14-element bridge, and comprises round blanks in five colours, ten shade pastes and six modifiers. Technicians can manufacture restorations in all 16 Vita shades, as well as bleach shades, without the need to dip them in coloured liquids.

Henry Schein's Zirlux LC ceramic system and the Zirlux LC pressed ceramic are perfectly matched to the Zirlux FC2 round blanks, offering interoperability benefits. The launch of the new product means the company now offers zirconium oxide systems for all aesthetic indications.

Patrick Thurm, vice-president of technology for global prosthetic solutions at Henry Schein, said: "The addition of this universal material system in our ConnectDental portfolio provides another way to use the digital potential to the mutual benefit of the dental practice, laboratory and above all, the patient."

The firm achieved a record-breaking business performance in the first quarter of the year, with sales rising six percent year on year during the three months.ADNFCR-8000103-ID-801722175-ADNFCR
