Henry Schein wins Cellerant Best of Class Technology Award for Dentrix Ascend

Henry Schein has announced that its Dentrix Ascend practice management software has won a Best of Class Technology Award, presented by Cellerant Consulting Group.

Recognising innovative and game-changing technology, services and devices in the dental industry, the awards have been held regularly since 2009 and this year honoured Henry Schein for the comprehensive clinical features and front/back office automation tools that Dentrix Ascend provides.

A judging panel of five dental professionals selected the software based on its ability to help users reduce upfront costs and access their practice data at any time through its cloud-based infrastructure.

This simplifies the management of multi-site practices, providing a central database from which the group can draw information, making it easier for growing practices to expand to additional locations.

During the second quarter of 2016, the firm saw a year-on-year sales increase of 9.3 percent, continuing its recent strong momentum.
