Hill and Knowlton Strategies wins GlaxoSmithKline Human Performance Lab brief
Hill and Knowlton Strategies has been handed a new brief by GlaxoSmithKline to promote the Human Performance Lab, its elite performance science facility.
According to the Holmes Report, the healthcare company has handed PR duties for the site to Hill and Knowlton Strategies following a competitive review. The assignment is also thought to encompass consumer and pharmaceutical PR duties.
The lab was established to create a better understanding of how the body and brain function, with research focusing on improved training, recovery, nutrition and competition programmes. Initial studies have examined protein, cognition and bone health.
GlaxoSmithKline hopes to apply the scientific insights it generates through its research at the Human Performance Lab to the wellbeing of the general population by developing new products based on its findings.
Hill and Knowlton Strategies can boast a client satisfaction score of 92 percent and has worked with its top 20 clients by revenue for more than eight years on average.
