Hill-Rom appoints new SVP for global supply chain
Hill-Rom has announced the appointment of Scott Jeffers as the senior vice-president (SVP) for its global supply chain, replacing the outgoing Mark Baron.
Mr Jeffers will take up his new role on September 13th 2010 and joins Hill-Rom after an 11-year career at fellow medical technology company GE Healthcare.
During his time at GE Healthcare, Mr Jeffers has worked in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility and currently holds the title of general manager for global lean enterprise.
When he joins Hill-Rom later in the month, he will assume direct responsibility for all areas of the company's global manufacturing and supply chain operations.
John Greisch, Hill-Rom's president and chief executive officer, said: "Under Scott's leadership, Hill-Rom will continue to deliver the quality products on which we have built our brand and market positions around the world."
Last month, Hill-Rom published its financial report for the third quarter of its fiscal year, during which it was able to achieve a year-on-year revenue increase of eight per cent.
