Hill-Rom launches new Centrella Smart Plus hospital bed

Hill-Rom has announced the North American launch of its new medical-surgical bed solution for hospitals, Centrella Smart Plus.

The bed is designed to optimise patient safety, offer improved satisfaction and incorporate advanced caregiver-focused technology, and has been made available in the US, with a Canadian launch to follow in November.

It provides verbal and visual notifications and a modular design, allowing users to add extra features and upgrades as needed. It also integrates Hill-Rom's advanced NaviCare Patient Safety application, which helps to prevent and reduce the risk of falls.

Other convenient features of the Centrella Smart Plus bed include USB ports and mobile device storage, plus new surfaces to deliver advanced therapy without compromising on quietness.
