Hill’s Pet Nutrition offers owners advice

5th December 2007

A specialist in pet nutrition has launched two new websites designed to help pet owners manage their new animal in its first year.

Hill’s Pet Nutrition has created sites dedicated to the owners of new puppies and kittens which offer advice on litter training and protecting the animal within their home.

UKPets reports that the sites are multi-lingual and offer news tailored to the country the visitor is browsing from.

Additionally, the sites email owners who register with important updates on their pet’s welfare.

Bob Gundry, consumer marketing manager at Hill’s Pet Nutrition, told UKPets: “The regular email newsletters also ensure that owners receive timely reminders on a range of topics applicable to kittens and puppies throughout the first year of their lives.”

The company was established in 1939 when Dr Mark L Morris Sr sought to prove certain animal conditions and diseases could be managed through their nutritional intake.

His first product was designed to help dogs suffering from kidney disease and became the first item marketed by Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
